Why does everyone think being with someone in the military is so great? I hate when someone asks “where’s your bf?’ or whatever and I tell them the situation and they think it’s all cutesy and romantic, or that they wish they could be with someone in the military. There is nothing cutesy or romantic about being thousands of miles from the person you love.
